Growing up with a double image has, to some degree, had an affect on how
I experience form, perspective and colour.
Knowing that I am observing a single object for example does not detract from the fact that
I can see two.
One inter-weaved with other, thus layering and merging their shapes and hues.
The primary difference however is that to one, I can reach out and embrace it’s very existence.
The other though, lies forever beyond the bounds of tactility;
a figment; a ghost; an elusive friend.
